Fire Prevention Month activities begin September 30

The St. Catharines Fire Department is expanding Fire Prevention Week with a full month’s worth of activities.

The activities and safety instruction begins on Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with an open house at Fire Station 4 (427 Merritt St.). There will be a variety of interactive, family-friendly activities taking place at the station, including:

• A variety of displays including kitchen safety, smoke, and carbon monoxide alarms

Juried art exhibition, Open-ended, on view
