The City of St. Catharines is modernizing its parking system by removing all remaining coin-only single-space parking meters.
The City will replace these outdated meters with a combination of HONK pay-by-phone zones, pay-and-display multi-space meters, and two-hour parking restrictions. The City of St. Catharines issued final residential and commercial property tax bills on June 7, 2024 with final payments due by June 28 and Sept. 27, 2024, by 4:30 p.m. Property owners are urged to meet these deadlines to avoid penalties.
Payments received after 4:30 p.m. on the due date will incur a 1.25 per cent late payment charge on the first day of default and on the first day of each calendar month until the payment is made in full.
