The City of St. Catharines will be hosting a free virtual event on June 18 to assist local youth with their mental wellbeing and motivation during the pandemic.

City unveils first Pride Crosswalk as commitment to inclusivity and diversity continues

As Pride Month celebrations get underway the City of St. Catharines is celebrating the installation of its first Pride Crosswalk, recognizing the community’s diversity and the importance of continued efforts toward inclusion.

Non-resident boat launch parking pass applications open Monday, June 7

Non-residents wishing to purchase one of 20 parking passes for the boat launch at Sunset Beach can do so starting Monday, June 7.

Council has approved a system that will provide a total of 20 passes to individuals who do not reside in the city of St. Catharines for 15 spots large enough to accommodate a vehicle and trailer at the launch.

Paid parking returns to St. Catharines streets, lots and garages; begins at beach lots on June 2

With the provincial stay-at-home order nearing completion, the City of St. Catharines is set to resume paid parking at on-street meter spaces, off-street lots and garages – in addition to the initiation of new paid parking at City beaches.
