The City of St. Catharines is encouraging residents to help it recognize the most-beautiful properties in the community.
Nominations opened today for the 2024 Trillium Awards.
Residents are invited to nominate front-yard properties blooming with exceptional gardens, horticulture, landscaping and more.
Through the annual awards, the City honours property owners who make a considered effort to beautify our community and continue the tradition of the City of St. Catharines as the Garden City of Canada.
All residential and commercial property owners are eligible to participate in this year’s awards. Nominators may choose one of three categories, including Civic Beautification (two awards per ward), Green Leader (one winner), and Community’s Choice (one winner). The Mayor’s Award will be presented to the best front-yard property from all submissions.
Nominations close on Friday, June 21 at 4:30 p.m.
Nominations will be evaluated and judged in July. Winners will be recognized at the 2024 Trillium Awards ceremony on Monday, Sept. 23 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Market Square, 91 King St.
