If you own a property that's designated under the Ontario Heritage Act with cultural heritage value or interest, you are eligible to receive grants toward the conservation and restoration of heritage features.
Applying for a grant
You can now apply online for a Heritage Designated Property Grant.
Through the Designated Property Grant program, you may receive up to one grant per year for work done on the heritage elements of your property.
Before you start
Please review the Designated Property Grant Guidelines before completing your application. To be eligible, your project must involve conserving or restoring designated heritage elements of your property.

Our process
Heritage Planning staff and the Heritage Advisory Committee will review and approve your proposed application if it meets requirements.
