The City of St. Catharines Parks By-law protects, manages, regulates, governs and controls all public parklands and community centres owned by the City. We maintain about 1,400 acres of parkland and open space for use by all residents. Our by-law's rules and regulations ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all.
You can report an issue around a Parks By-law infraction online with our Report an Issue Form or by calling 905.688.5600.
Anyone who does not comply with the by-law may be subject to legal action.
The Region of Niagara's Smoke and Vape-free Outdoor Spaces By-law protects children and vulnerable people from exposure to second-hand smoke and vapour. The by-law prohibits the use of tobacco, cannabis and vaping products from being smoked or vaped in public spaces in Niagara, including public parklands.
To register a complaint, contact the Region's Tobacco Hotline.
