The application period for the 2024 operating season has now closed.
Applications for the 2025 operating season will be accepted in March, 2025 at stcatharines.ca/VendorPermit.
The Food Trucks and Mobile Vending Carts program allows businesses to operate on City-owned property from June 1 to September 30. Food trucks and mobile vending carts, where appropriately located and operated, have the opportunity to enhance services provided in City-owned parks and facilities while positively benefiting local business.
The application process will give preference to accessible, environmentally friendly and Niagara-based organizations.
Eligible locations for this program have been selected based on the following criteria:
St. Catharines welcomes location suggestions during the application process from businesses based on the policy criteria. Parking availability and proximity to other food services will also be considered.
The application period for the Food Trucks and Mobile Vending Carts program begins on March 1 and ends on March 31, annually.
Successful applicants will need to obtain their Hawkers and Peddlers License, a food truck and mobile vending cart park permit and pay an environmental fee.
