Our Happy Rolph's Animal Farm offers more than 15 acres of parkland on the shores of Lake Ontario, and is home to the 9/11 Memorial Walkway, along with exotic collections of flowers, ducks, geese and native birds, and a collection of farm animals from Victoria Day until Thanksgiving.
Our diverse community trails offer something for everyone, with varied lengths and difficulty levels for trail hikers of all ages.
Explore the Bruce Trail, Canada's oldest and longest marked footpath. Stretching from Niagara to Tobermory, the 900-km long trail connects you to the wonders of the Niagara Escarpment. The trail is visited by more than 400,000 users each year and traverses public lands, roads and road allowances. It is maintained by volunteers from the nine local Bruce Trail clubs.
One of the nine volunteer clubs which support the work of the Bruce Trail Conservancy, the Niagara Bruce Trail Club is dedicated to the preservation of nature and conservation of the environment, particularly in the Niagara Escarpment.
Short Hills Provincial Park is a 735-hectare day-use park containing a number of excellent hiking trails which wind through forests and meadows. Trails include Swayze Falls, Very Berry and the Black Walnut trail.
