Hospital

Urgent Care Ontario

Niagara residents who need urgent care but don’t have access to a primary care provider can now book an appointment online through Urgent Care Ontario to see a Niagara Health provider from the comfort of their home.

This service is for adults who have an urgent medical issue or health concern that is not life-threatening and who do not have a primary care provider or cannot make an appointment with their primary care provider.

This service provides a new health care option in the region that is seamlessly integrated with in-person urgent care at Niagara Health. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Niagara North Family Health Team

Formed in partnership with the City, the Niagara North Family Health Team is a teaching facility, affiliated primarily with McMaster University, that offers patients a team approach to healthcare and determines the best possible plans for the health and wellness of patients.

The Niagara North Family Health Team is also home to a Diabetes Education Program, which provides ongoing support and education to those with type-two diabetes.
