Spring has begun and with everyone eager to get back out into their communities, the City of St. Catharines is set to begin spring and summer recreation program registration on March 22.
Recreation program information and registration can be found through the City’s ActiveSTC portal, ensuring residents always have the most up-to-date information at their fingertips and easy access to registration without having to leave their homes.
“We’re thrilled to be able to offer a full slate of recreation programming for spring and summer, after years of limited programming during the pandemic,” said Manager of Programs and Culture Services Lori Mambella. Adding, “I invite residents to come out and discover all of the opportunities our teams have worked hard to develop, whether that’s exploring new and unique programs, or participating in popular favourites they’ve been missing.”
On ActiveSTC, users can navigate program options by age group and activity categories, making it easy to find programming for the whole family. Programs begin in April, including activities for art enthusiasts like soapstone carving; fitness activities like kickboxing and karate; preschool craft programs; newly formatted swimming lessons; and lifeguard certification courses.
Residents can begin to register at 6 p.m. on March 22, non-residents can begin to register at 6 p.m. on March 24 at stcatharines.ca/ActiveSTC. Anyone who requires assistance or has additional questions about ActiveSTC can call 905.688.5600 or email activeSTC@stcatharines.ca
