The City’s free outdoor Summer Concert Series is back – with double the concerts, this year across two venues – Lakeside Park and Montebello Park.
This year’s concert series features local and touring Canadian musicians, including headliners like LMT Connection and Brooks & Bowskill.
The series of six concerts runs Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. from July 18 to Aug. 22.
“We are excited to bring this lineup of original and local talent to the stage this summer for our annual Summer Concerts in the Park,” Community and Events Coordinator Andrea Connelly-Miele said.
“The lineup we’ve put together is really diverse and I think we’ve created something anyone can come out to and enjoy.”
The City’s 2024 Summer Concert Series is presented in partnership with Cicada Music & Arts Festival and Warehouse Concert Hall with sponsorship from CAA Niagara.
Summer eats and treats from a handful of food trucks and craft beverage vendors, as well as family games, round out this summer’s Thursday night outdoor, all-ages concert fun. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, and a reusable water bottle to fill at the Water Wagon. There are washrooms onsite at each venue.
After years of successful events in downtown St. Catharines, the City is expanding the Summer Concert Series to also include Lakeside Park.
The series which showcases local musicians and celebrates outdoor open-air live entertainment is expected to bring hundreds of people to Port Dalhousie.
Summer tourism attractions, such as these concerts, benefit the local economy and neighbouring businesses.
Paid parking will be in effect at Lakeside Park.
Tickets for a 50 / 50 raffle will be on sale in support of the Port Dalhousie Lions.
