Parks Renewal Plan - St. Patrick's Park

The contract for the construction of the park upgrades at St. Patrick’s Park has been awarded, and the successful Contractor, Touchstone Site Contractors Inc. is tentatively scheduled to start work on Sept. 8, 2023. Construction will pause over winter and will restart in the spring, with completion by May 2024 with final restoration being completed in the timeline, weather permitting.

• Multi-Use Court Reconstruction

This work is tentatively scheduled to start Sept. 7, 2023, and in order to complete the construction and in a timely manner:

• The park’s parking lot off St. Catherine Street will be restricted starting Sept. 8, 2023. Subsequent notices will be issued for any additional parking lot closure during construction.
• Sections of the park within the construction limits will be closed off to pedestrian traffic for the duration of construction. This will mean a detour of the Terry Fox trail through the existing parking lot.
