The City of St. Catharines offers a variety of recreation and leisure programs at our three older adult centres! Make new friends, get involved, volunteer and keep your mind and body active with our many opportunities.

Lunch and Learns

Get your tickets for the next installment in the St. Catharines Older Adult Centre Lunch and Learn Series.

Visit the Dunlop Drive Older Adult Centre at 80 Dunlop Dr. and listen to Sara Nixon dive into the past, present and future of the Brown Homestead located on Pelham Road in St. Catharines.

Begins at 10 a.m. on Jan. 15, 2025. Lunch will follow provided by Chef Paul's catering.

Seniors' Centre Without Walls

This program is currently suspended due to technical issues.

A telephone-based program that offers adults 50 and over the opportunity to enjoy socialization and programs from the comfort of their own homes, Seniors' Centre Without Walls is a great way to stay connected, socialize and learn new things while distanced. All you need is a telephone!

Membership

With an older adult centres membership, you can participate in activities at all three older adult centres, as well as older adult drop-in programs at community centres. Programs are open to members and to residents for a single-entry fee. Memberships can be purchased in person at any of the centres or online through ActiveSTC.

Rates and fees

Our older adult centres' rates and fees include the following prices (all prices include HST):

Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, January to December): $62.55
Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, April to December): $47.00
Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, July to December): $31.45
Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, October to December): $15.80
Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 90+): No charge
Older Adult Class Single Entry Fee (with membership): $2.35 per class
Older Adult Class Single Entry Fee (without membership): $3.75 per class
