HonkMobile Payment System now online at Ontario Street Parking Garage

The City has added the Ontario Street Parking Garage to the list of cashless parking facilities in St. Catharines as the City works towards streamlining parking operations.

Effective immediately, patrons using the popular garage will experience the efficient and user-friendly method for parking payments without the need for cash.

“We have the opportunity to use our existing HonkMobile system as a cashless option for patrons as we explore alternatives for a new system,” said Kathryn Hannah, revenue manager for the City. "The transition aligns with our commitment to providing residents and visitors with more convenience and an improved parking experience.”

The HonkMobile platform is a widely recognized parking solution which has been successfully used over the years in other City-owned lots, allowing users to conveniently pay for parking using their smartphones. The process streamlines payments, reduces congestion during peak times, and simplifies parking for individuals frequenting the garage.

Permit holders will need to set up a HONK account to activate permits, set up a credit card for pre-authorized payments, and link permits to licence plates.
