Non-residents wishing to purchase one of 20 parking passes for the boat launch at Sunset Beach can do so starting Monday, June 7.
Council has approved a system that will provide a total of 20 passes to individuals who do not reside in the city of St. Catharines for 15 spots large enough to accommodate a vehicle and trailer at the launch.
The $100 non-resident boat launch parking passes will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis to applicants. Residents of St. Catharines can use their free resident beach parking passes to access the spaces and need not apply. A pass does not guarantee an open space will be available at any given time.
Applications will open at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021 via a link posted at stcatharines.ca/Beaches.
The first 20 applicants will receive passes. Later applicants can be placed on a waitlist to receive a pass in the event earlier applicants decline their pass or fail to properly complete the application.
Successful applicants will be contacted by the City to arrange payment after completing their application.
