Minor Variance Application details (A-48/23)
Application A-48/23 seeks relief from the City of St. Catharines By-law 2013-283, as amended, for the following variances to permit a storage facility:
- A reduction of the minimum yard abutting a Residential, Institutional, Green Space or Mixed Use Zone from 15 metres to 4.76 metres;
- A reduction of the minimum width of a Landscape Buffer abutting a Residential, Institutional, Green Space or Mixed Use Zone from 7.5 metres to 3 metres.

Under the authority of the Statutory Powers Procedure Act, Committee of Adjustment Hearings are being held electronically. All hearings will be streamed live on the City of St. Catharines YouTube account. To submit comments or participate:
- All written comments (by mail to City of St. Catharines, 50 Church St., PO Box 3012, St. Catharines ON L2R 7C2 or email to jnahachewsky@stcatharines.ca) must be received no later than May 18, 2023.
- Advance registration is required to participate in the electronic hearing by visiting the Committee of Adjustment page and completing the Committee of Adjustment Electronic Delegation Application Form by Friday, May 19, 2023.
- Residents without access to a computer, smartphone or tablet can participate in a meeting via telephone. You can register by calling 905.688.5601, ext. 1715, and leave a message with your name, phone number and the application you wish to speak to by Friday, May 19, 2023. The Secretary-Treasurer will contact you and provide you with further details.
