City Initiated Zoning By-law Amendment

On Aug. 26, 2024, Council for the City of St. Catharines directed staff to prepare a Zoning By-law Amendment
to permit required parking for Bed and Breakfasts to be provided in tandem.
Amendment materials and an informational video are available for review and comment online at
stcatharines.ca/BnBTandemParking or in person at the Planning and Building Services Department at City Hall, 50 Church St., St. Catharines.
Given that the subject amendment regulates the use of lands throughout the geographic boundaries of the
City of St. Catharines, a key map has not been provided with this notice.
Public Meeting
City Council is hosting a Legislated Public Meeting on Nov. 4, 2024, to receive input and comment on the
proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, after which Council will consider staff’s recommendation on the amendment and make a decision on the matter.

Date: Monday, Nov. 4, 2024
Time: 6 p.m.
Location: In-person at City Hall (Council Chambers), electronic participation using Zoom and broadcast on YouTube and YourTV

Written submissions must be received by noon the Thursday before the public meeting by mailing or delivering them to:
