Seasonal closures

As the weather starts to get cooler, several City of St. Catharines attractions and facilities will be closing for the season.

Splash Pads: Splash pads across the City will be closed for the season as of Oct. 7. 

Public washrooms: The washrooms at Sunset Beach, Lakeside Park Beach and most sports parks will be closed for the season as of the afternoon on Oct. 8. The washrooms at Burgoyne Woods will close on Oct. 22.

Lakeside Park Carousel: The historic Lakeside Park Carousel will close for the season as of 6 p.m. on Oct. 9.

Happy Rolph’s Animal Farm: Happy Rolph’s Animal Farm will close for the season at 8 p.m. on Oct. 14. The animals will return to their winter homes after this date. The rest of the greenspace, waterfront trail and playgrounds will remain open to the public like any other City park.

Garden City Golf Course: Garden City Golf Course will close for the season as of 7 p.m. on Oct. 29.
