An impressive feature of the stcatharines.ca website is the mySTC citizen portal, which allows residents to customize their online experience with the City and easily receive notifications and updates.
mySTC can be easily connected to a municipal address, providing a unique and personalized experience according to individual needs. Dashboards can be customized to include widget buttons linked to current property tax balances, traffic alerts, weather alerts, water billing information, employment opportunities, upcoming program dates and more.
“The City’s primary focus has been ensuring our residents and visitors can easily and effectively access the information they need while providing an appealing and immersive online experience,” said Manager of Corporate Communications Maggie Riopelle. “Residents are always looking for better ways to connect with us and access services online, and the City is using this outstanding tool to better engage with its citizens.”
mySTC replaces the former Pingstreet App which has been phased out over the last few months as the newer portal replaces and enhances its features. The Pingstreet App will be officially decommissioned on May 1, 2023. The new mySTC portal boasts improved accessibility features and allows residents to more accurately report issues and directly engage in the City’s many ongoing projects.
