Registration for the City’s winter recreation and aquatics programs opens next week with St. Catharines residents at the front of the line.
Registration for the City’s winter recreation and aquatics programming opens online for residents on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. at www.stcatharines.ca/ActiveSTC, while in-person registration opens on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre.
Everyone can register online starting on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. and then in-person starting on Friday, Dec. 13 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre.
“The winter session is a great time of year to get active and check out all the programs offered,” said Koby Vanyo, programs supervisor. “We are thrilled to be partnering with Little Medical School for Marine Biology Sea Turtle Adventure, Forensic Science STEM Sleuths and others, plus Creative Bug for art and sewing programming.
“Brand new are Ukulele Lessons for children and older adults as well as Soft and Hard Tennis Cricket for Kids. Scroll through stcatharines.ca/ActiveSTC and add some favourites to your wish list now.”
The “City Where Everybody Can Play” offers a wide array of activities available to all ages and abilities, including some new offerings that expand on the roster of well-loved programs. Some of the programming highlights this season include:
