Minor Variance Application details (A-19/25)
Application A-19/25 seeks relief from the City of St. Catharines By-law 2013-283, as amended, for a proposed detached garage:
- That an accessory building be permitted in the front with a minimum front yard setback of four metres.
- That a detached garage be permitted to locate closer to the front lot line than the front wall of the dwelling with a minimum front yard setback of four metres.
- That the maximum permitted lot coverage for accessory buildings and structures be increased to 13.8 per cent from 10 per cent.
- That the maximum permitted width of a driveway accessed from an exterior lot line be increased from 50% of the width of the principal building width (7.2 m) to 66 per cent (9.4 m).
